Restricting # of Open Archives Suggestion

First of all THANK-YOU for making Keka. It's an excellent utility.

I have a suggestion / request.

Would it be possible to have an option to restrict the number of archives being created at the same time?

Right now, if I select 20 files to compress individually they all get compressed simultaneously which slows the computer down. What I would like, is the ability to tell Keka to only compress 4 files simultaneously, similar to how you can restrict the number of downloads in an FTP client.

Is this possible and something you would consider doing?

There's in fact a task queue, only that the limitation is set to 11 maximum task simultaneously. It is planned to let it be changed manually and set a personalised number depending on the needs and capacity of the system. Just a matter of time.

Make a ticket for this as a remember in the trac:

Hello! I was wondering when this particular function would be implemented. I see it was planned to be added a year ago. I have many directories I'm trying to compress. Obviously 7z compression is fairly intensive. It would be nice to limit the number of operations to 1-3 to improve the overall speed of the machine.

Just wondering - thanks! :)
